The Raven & Roost is described as an exciting new venue in the heart of South Street, which is set to be open exclusively at weekends and will specialise in premium rum and vermouth cocktails and serve food. In a sign outside the venue on 6 South Street, it reads: “We’re incredibly excited to be bringing something fresh, vibrant and – hopefully – much needed to Bridport. “At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to supporting our community: championing local artists, showcasing local talent and celebrating the incredible food and drink our area has to offer.” The launch of The Raven – the bar element of the business, will be followed by The Roost, which will be run as a pop-up kitchen for local chefs to host evenings showcasing their own culinary vision. The owners are currently recruiting members of staff and an opening date is currently not known.
