Joan Jett is recovering after undergoing spinal surgery. A statement posted on Joan's social media accounts explained: "Following a recent injury, Joan Jett has undergone orthopedic surgery on a fractured vertebrae and will begin the necessary healing process. "While Joan hates to disappoint fans, she will be taking this time to focus on physical therapy and healing. Joan had been due to perform at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa, California on September 5 and venue bosses have now confirmed Cheap Trick will be taking her place on stage. "If you wish to attend the Cheap Trick / X show on Sept. 5, do nothing and your tickets will be valid.
