Jacksonville - A funeral service for Jerry Ray Oden, 86, was held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 10, 2026, at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Jerry was born on October 7, 1939, in Jacksonville, to James Jackson and Estelle Ladonna (Kinney) Oden and passed away on August 5, 2026, in Tyler. After high school, Jerry served proudly in the Army and spent his service years in Alaska. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anna Oden; daughter-in-law, Sunney Oden; brothers, Horis and Richard Oden; and sister, Lavern Oden. Left to cherish his/her memory are his son, Randy Oden; granddaughter, Haley Oden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
