East Nashville great but hardly representative
[]
The Nashville Ledger
A survey by a real estate outfit has identified East Nashville as “the Most ‘Tennessee’ Place to Live.”
As a resident of East Nashville, I appreciate the honor this result is supposed to represent.
A couple of runners-up to East Nashville made the list: Fort Sanders in Knoxville at No.
I’m better equipped to judge Nashville, where I’ve lived in four areas: Downtown, Green Hills, whatever that part of Woodmont Boulevard between Granny White and Eighth Avenue is called and East Nashville.
But I would emphasize that East Nashville is an amalgam of widely varying neighborhoods.
