At a recent meeting, last year's president, Malcolm Watkins, handed over to Mike Truswell, reflecting on a "record amount" of donations being made to both local and international charities. The money was raised through events like the Sportsman's Lunches, the Mayor's Golf Day, and the Dragon Boat Event, the latter two organised with St Neots Town Council. Mike Truswell said they hope to raise £15,000 to £20,000 in the current Rotary year. Most of the funds raised stay in St Neots and the local area.
