District Health Society, Zunheboto, observed World Malaria Day-cum-Malaria Elimination Task Force Meeting under the theme “Malaria Ends with Us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite” on April 25 at DC Conference Hall, Zunheboto. Deputy Commissioner in his speech, praised the District Vector Borne Disease Control (DVBDC) team and health workers for their efforts. She noted significant progress due to dedicated health workers, improved diagnostics, effective treatments, and Long-Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs) distribution. Assam Rifles: To mark World Malaria Day, Assam Rifles (AR) organised an interactive session in Ngwalwa, and nearby villages in Peren district, under the theme “Malaria ends with us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite.” Coordinated by the school and Assam Rifles, it highlighted the theme: “Accelerating the fight against malaria for a healthier world.”
