QUENTIN Townsend feels Droitwich Spa have every right to feel hard done by following the club’s 1-0 opening day defeat at Roman Glass St George. Townsend took charge of Spa for the first time at Oaklands Park as Neikell Plummer’s second-half goal settled the contest while Nathan Binner saw red for the visitors. However, Townsend refused to blame the defeat on the performance of the officials and felt his side were simply not clinical enough in front of goal. Townsend said: “I think we have every right to feel a little hard done by. Droitwich are next in action against Cinderford Town on Tuesday, August 4 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the King George Playing Fields.
