DROITWICH Spa slipped to a late 1-0 defeat against Cinderford Town in the club’s first home league game of the season. The result means Droitwich sit 19th in the Hellenic League Premier Division table having failed to score in either of their two league games this season. Spa had the ball in the net after the break only for Sam Hurdman to see his effort ruled out for offside. And Cory Rudd then hit the crossbar with a shot from just outside the box as the game remained goalless. Spa goalkeeper Dom Rogerson then kept out Jack Watts’ effort as Cinderford pushed for a late winner.
