Tamper-proof blockchain: Naidu announces enhanced security for AP land documentsAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said pattadar passbooks will feature currency note-like security measures, including blockchain and QR codes, to prevent tampering. “We are implementing currency note-like security features in pattadar passbooks. Through blockchain technology, we have extended tamper-proof security to these documents,” Naidu said, adding that QR codes and other security features had also been embedded. According to Naidu, more than 32 lakh pattadar passbooks had been distributed to farmers, while 9,365 villages were yet to undergo resurvey to enable the distribution of another 69 lakh passbooks. Naidu said the government had begun digitising land records dating back to 1986, with all linked documents being brought online.
