The state collected $1.46 billion in General Fund receipts in July, an increase of $328.7 million, or 29.1%, compared with July 2025. “General Fund revenues posted substantial gains from corporation income and sales tax accounts,” State Budget Director John Hicks said. The July total was the largest monthly corporate income tax collection in the 20 years since significant changes were made to Kentucky’s corporate tax structure. Individual income tax receipts declined 12.3%, reflecting the reduction in the individual income tax rate. Motor vehicle usage tax receipts declined 10.5%, while license and privilege tax collections fell 2.8%.
