On Sunday, Aug. 9, at 2 p.m., the Winston-Salem Dash — the current team of former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow — fell 8-5 to the Asheville Tourists in a MiLB game. It was the 17th meeting between the teams this season, with the Dash holding a 10-7 advantage in the season series. Wolkow went 1-for-4, struck out once and left two runners on base.
