HYDERABAD: Cyberabad police will expand the use of drones, CCTV cameras and smart technologies in coordination with the Cyberabad Security Council to strengthen monitoring of monsoon field operations. The meeting reviewed traffic, road infrastructure and monsoon‑related issues, with officials from the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC), Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) and other line departments participating. Other issues reviewed included desilting stormwater drains, cleaning catch pits beneath flyovers, deploying special teams in waterlogging zones, inspecting underpass motors and removing dangerous trees. Officials also discussed expediting tree‑branch removal, filling potholes immediately after excavation, and ensuring public transport was not disrupted in Raidurg and surrounding areas. CMC commissioner G. Srijana, HMWS&SB managing director Ashok Reddy and joint commissioner of police Sunpreet Singh were among those present.
