Markel names new London specialty managing directorU.S.-headquartered Markel Insurance Company has appointed Doan Nguyen as managing director of specialty for its London market operation, effective immediately, Reinsurance News reported. Nguyen has more than 18 years of experience and most recently served as global head of portfolio solutions at German firm Allianz Commercial. She succeeds Tom Hillier, who was appointed chief underwriting officer of Markel International earlier this year.
