Organised by Pilar de la Horadada’s Tourism Department with support from Alicante Provincial Council, the event was created to make local history accessible and enjoyable for the whole community. The first celebration showed how local history can bring people together, giving older generations a chance to remember the area’s roots while helping younger residents discover the story of their hometown. More than 700 years after the agreement was reached, Pilar de la Horadada is ensuring its history is remembered, shared and passed on to future generations.
