When Trump and Netanyahu recently met it is likely that the situation on the West Bank was not even on the agenda. Since 1967, the West Bank has been under Israeli occupation, a circumstance rendered illegal under international law. In the last three years, from 2023 to 2025, 1,244 Palestinians – including 268 children – have been killed on the West Bank.
