Terre Haute, IN - TERRE HAUTE - George Thomas "Tom" Asbury, 88, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, at Springhill Village Nursing Home. Born on July 29, 1937, in Terre Haute, Tom was the son of the late Robert Asbury and Wilma Asbury Witt. Service to others remained a guiding principle throughout Tom's life. Whether serving his country, his community, his profession, or his family, Tom gave generously of himself and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse Mission, Inc. of Terre Haute or the Terre Haute Humane Society, organizations that reflect Tom's caring spirit and commitment to helping others.
