The event, held at Barbury Shooting School, saw teams from the Swindon and North East Somerset branches compete in a friendly yet competitive shoot to claim this year’s title. North East Somerset emerged as winners on the day. Cllr Stevenson said: "It was a genuine privilege to attend the Parachute Regimental Association's annual clay shoot as an honorary guest this year, held at Barbury Shooting School. "The event brought together the Swindon and North East Somerset branches of the Parachute Regimental Association in a spirited and good-natured competition. She thanked the Swindon Parachute Regimental Association for their hospitality and for inviting her to witness "the enduring spirit of the airborne community."
