Goat farmers plea to keep log cabin so their income isn't 'decimated'

Now, Luke and Kylie Cowlard have appealed to the Planning Inspector, hoping for a ruling that will allow them to stay.
The couple established a smallholding at All Oaks Farm at Heddington, near Calne in 2021 while they were living in Swindon.
Two wooden buildings - a log cabin and a shed - were erected on the land, and the couple - along with their four children - moved into the cabin.
But Wiltshire Council said the buildings needed planning permission, and started enforcement proceedings against them.
The couple told the council that they needed to live on-site, pointing out that the nature of the work was "unpredictable."
