Terre Haute, IN - Marilu Schwartz, 96, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026 in Majestic Care of Terre Haute. She was born May 19, 1930 in Brazil, IN to Joe Van Deren and Faye Jackson Van Deren. Survivors include her sons, Matthew Schwartz and Marc Schwartz (Tina); grandchildren, Adrienne Schwartz, Sophia Schwartz, and Bryn Schwartz (Faith); great granddaughter, Ava Schwartz; and nephews, Van Nation and Dirk Nation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Schwartz; her parents; and sister, Jorita Nation. Marilu was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and was a volunteer and honorary member of the Service League of Union Hospital.
