Terre Haute - Shirley Gunther, 86 of Terre Haute Indiana passed away at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, August 2nd 2026 at her residence. She married Douglas M Gunther at the Clarksville Baptist Church and he proceeded her in death on October 3rd, 2018. Kirk (Donna) Gunther of Muncie, Indiana; a daughter, Karla (David) Snowden of Terre Haute, Indiana. Grandchildren Ryan (Bethany) Gunther, Adam (Lisa) Gunther, Austin (Abby) Gunther, Abigail and Gabe Cicotte, Christopher (Alyssa) Snowden, Zachary (Katie) Snowden, Josh (April) Snowden. In addition to her husband and parents, she was pre-ceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy Snowden, a sister-in-law Verna Gunther, and two brothers-in-law Ivan Van Tassel and Daniel Gunther.
