Car Drives Into Hudson River At Boat Launch In Albany, NYAccording to the Albany Police Department, it all started on Sunday, August 9, around 3 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the Corning Preserve Boat Launch at 20 Quay Street in Albany after receiving reports that a vehicle had driven into the Hudson River. According to investigators, Hemedan allegedly strangled the victim, causing her to drive the vehicle into the Hudson River. The victim was treated by members of the Albany Fire Department and emergency medical personnel before being transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital. Albany Man Charged With Attempted MurderHemedan has been charged with one count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and is expected to be arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court Monday morning.
