Trevorton, Pennsylvania - John J. Ebersole, 80, of Trevorton, passed away on July 29, 2026, at Geisinger, Danville. Born on Jan. 18, 1946, in Trevorton, he was a son of the late Joseph O. and Clara (Latsha) Ebersole. He later worked for Furman's, from where he retired. John will be lovingly remembered by his children, Wendy Paul (Robert), Barbara Sampsell (the late Dean), Tammy Ebersole, John Ebersole Jr. (Tiffany), and Paul Ebersole (Kelly); a brother, Howard Ebersole; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, William, Joseph, Margaret, and Ruth Ebersole; and his beloved dog Elmer.
