DROITWICH Spa CVS wants to make sure residents know about its community transport scheme which helps older people and the vulnerable get around. The volunteer-run scheme has helped hundreds of people remain independent by helping them get to where they need to be. The transport enables them to travel safely to medical appointments, shops, social clubs, family visits and activities. Sarah Murray, Droitwich CVS’ community transport manager, said: “Community transport is about much more than taking someone from A to B. “Every journey helps someone maintain their independence, access essential services, or simply enjoy getting out and meeting other people.
