The gorse fire was reported at the popular Lochore Meadows park on Monday evening. At the height of the fire between 20 and 30 square metres of ground was ablaze. The blaze started on the far side of the loch, away from the visitor centre and car park. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We received the first of several calls at 7.39pm reporting a large gorse fire at Lochore Meadows Country Park.
