The delivery station will open in Mill Hill in October. The 100,000 sq ft facility at Pentavia Retail Park will serve customers across the Barnet area and is part of Amazon’s £40 billion investment in the UK. The site will create full-time positions starting at £31,824 a year with benefits, as well as driving opportunities through Amazon’s delivery service partners and Amazon Flex network. Delivery stations support the final stage of Amazon’s delivery process by receiving packages from fulfilment and sortation centres and dispatching them to customers’ homes. The new Mill Hill site is part of Amazon’s wider investment plan, estimated to contribute an additional £38 billion to UK GDP.
