Chapman Township - David H. Griffith, 92, of Chapman Twp, Snyder County passed away on July 30, 2026, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland. He's survived by his wife, Kathy (Brooks), and his daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Linh Nguyen of Saline, Michigan. David was born on March 8, 1934, in Ephrata, Pa., to John "Clem" and Annie (Hornberger) Griffith. He was the grandson of Reverend David and Amanda Hornberger with whom he spent much of his childhood. In 1999, David was voted the #5 all time greatest athlete by the readers of the Ephrata Review.
