Film fans heading to Greenbridge Retail and Leisure Park for a visit to Vue on Tuesday were surprised to see the venue shut, and customers hoping to book tickets were unable to do so. A message on the cinema's website that morning: "This venue is closed due to external circumstances. "Customers with a pre-booked ticket for cancelled shows (by card transaction) will be refunded automatically. "We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to welcoming customers back very soon." By 12.20pm, the error message had disappeared, and people who had pre-booked viewings could go in without issue, though some still experienced issues with the online booking system.
