ROCHESTER, N.Y. — More than 6,000 citations were issued to drivers who illegally passed stopped school buses during the 2025-26 school year, Monroe County Executive Adam Bello announced Monday. Greece Central School District had the most citations issued this past school year, with over 2,300 citations issued. The City of Rochester and the Rochester Central District School Board have their own school bus safety program that started in November.
