Ottumwa, IA - Diane Lee Pigg of Ottumwa, Iowa, died July 22, 2026, in Oskaloosa, IA, at age 78, ready to join her beloved husband David who preceded her in death in 2017. Diane and David moved to Austin, Minnesota, where their sons Jason and Jeff were born, and then to Fort Dodge, IA, and Ottumwa, IA, where Diane worked for several years as a pre-school instructor at First Presbyterian Church. After David's death, Diane moved back to Ottumwa to be closer to family and friends, and soon came to gain meaning and wonderful friendships through Grace Ottumwa Methodist Church. Memorials/donations are suggested to Grace Methodist Church in Ottumwa (https://www.graceottumwa.org/). A memorial service will also be held at Grace Ottumwa Methodist Church in Ottumwa on Monday, July 27 at 6:00 p.m..
