Lewisburg - Barbara L. Hilferty, 93, of Lewisburg, passed away on July, 23, 2026, at Buffalo Valley Skilled Nursing in Lewisburg. Barb was born Aug. 6, 1932, in Lewistown, Pa. She was the daughter of Clinton H. Jacobs and Dorothy G. (Jacobs) Landis. In addition, Barb is survived by her loving cat, Bella. Barb married C Joseph Shaffer (Joe) of Lewistown, Pa., and they moved to Lewisburg in 1962. Barb loved golfing, playing bridge and beating the grandchildren in Chinese Checkers.
