My actions were born out of love and concern for Nigerian students, but I now recognise that the way I expressed those concerns was inappropriate, unfair, and unhelpful. I also recognise the critical role the Embassy plays in helping to repatriate Nigerian students who, unfortunately, are unable to meet their visa obligations. I will work collaboratively with the Embassy, NIDOPHIL, and NANS leadership to promote dialogue and unity, prioritizing the welfare of Nigerian students above all.
