Danville, Illinois - Linda Sue Scott, 76, of Danville, Illinois passed away on Monday August 3, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. Linda was born on June 22, 1950, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Helen (Thomas) Kenny Jr. Linda later married Randy Scott on March 15, 1991, he survives. Linda leaves behind her children; Matt Rice, Maggie Rice, Mandy (Theodor Gonzalez) Rice, Mike (Susan) Scott, Shanna (Steve) Doggett, grandchildren; Austin Shelato, Zach (Trinity Upton) Shelato, Isabela (Kenzie) Contreras, Alana Miller, Matthew Scott, Randy Scott, Tabitha Scott, Tara Oxier, John Cody Scott, Alex Doggett, Molly Doggett, and Maddy Doggett and several great grandchildren, sister-in-law Terri (Richard) Dicken. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Mark Rice and John Scott. Linda loved to go with Randy out to eat, they enjoyed weekend road trips where they just got in the car and took care of everyone she loved.
