Dorset Police said: "Following information coming to light, officers arrested a serving Dorset Police officer on Tuesday, August 4 on suspicion of Misconduct in a Public Office and Data Protection Act offences. "They were subsequently released under investigation while enquiries continue." The force also confirmed the officer concerned has been suspended from duty.
