Eldon, IA - Betty June Ostrander, 99, of Eldon died August 2, 2026, at Vista Woods (Accura) Care Center in Ottumwa. Services celebrating her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Eldon Methodist Church in Eldon, IA with Pastor Dave Peterson and Rev. Betty June Ostrander was born January 6, 1927, at the Schiller Family home in rural Donnellson, IA to Christopher and Katherine (Ott) Schiller. Betty was a member of Eldon United Methodist Church, Chapter CG P.E.O., Chapter l T.T.T., Chatter Club, Eldon Lioness Club, and served as Agriculture Superintendent for the Wapello County Fair. Survivors include two sons, Steve (Kristy) Ostrander and Kim (Melissa) Ostrander, both of Eldon, two daughters, Diana Harness (Donald) of Eldon and Kerry Ostrander (Rick Vaslic) of Huntington Beach, CA., grandchildren, David (Louisa) Harness, Denice Harness, Krystle (Michael J Dugan) Kildow, Kody (Lee Mills) Ostrander, Leea (Trevor) Drish, Drew (Makenzie) Ostrander, Brinlee (Blaine Bryant) Ostrander and 14 great grandchildren.
