Steven Warren, 42, of Ascot Avenue, Sale, was captured on newly installed cameras dumping furniture at a known hotspot on Banky Lane in Ashton upon Mersey. The cameras, installed by Trafford Council following repeated fly-tipping incidents, filmed Warren arriving in a white van, unloading a large quantity of furniture into a wooded area, and then leaving the site. The footage provided clear images of Warren, enabling environmental improvement officers to trace him as the registered keeper of the vehicle. He was fined £320 and ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge and £115 in costs.
