Yes, believe it or not, the newly released Farmers’ Almanac winter forecast is out, and if you’re wondering what Northern Illinois might be in for, the answer is…well, it could be a little bit of everything. In other words, Northern Illinois may get plenty of reminders that winter is still winter. So this isn't necessarily a prediction of a record-breaking, snow-covered winter for Northern Illinois. And remember, this is the Farmers’ Almanac we’re talking about. So, according to the Farmers’ Almanac, Northern Illinois may soon be trading tornado watches for snow squalls, ice scrapers and those wonderful words: “Wind chill advisory.”
