palm harbor, Florida - Nancy "Nana" Catherine Scarlett (Roark) passed peacefully to heaven on 8/4/2026 at the age of 82. Daughter of Clarence and Catherine Roark, Nancy grew up in Hoopeston Illinois where she held many wonderful memories of growing up with her Mom and Dad and her eight siblings. Nancy married the love of her life, Gary Scarlett on September 5, 1964 they shared over 61 years of marriage. Nancy received her RN from Saint Elizabeth School of Nursing in Danville, Illinois and later continued her education at Eastern Illinois University where she received her BSN and Northern Illinois University where she received her MSN. Nancy was preceded to heaven by her parents Clarence and Catherine Roark, and her siblings David, Pat, Richard, Mike (Del), and Eleanor.
