Have your say on measures to combat dog fouling in Droitwich
['Droitwich Editorial']
The Droitwich Standard
RESIDENTS in Droitwich, Evesham and Pershore are being asked for their views on proposals to tackle dog fouling, writes Niamh Cassidy.
A ten-week consultation has been launched by the Wychavon District Council, outlining a ‘proposed dog control public spaces protection order (PSPO).
The order can also allow councils to issue fixed penalty notices when witnessing offences of dog fouling, as well as preventing dogs from entering designated play areas.
Rob said: “We know most dog owners act responsibly, but dog fouling and poor dog control can have a real impact on our communities and the places people use everyday.
