Brevin Jordan's latest injury raises questions about his immediate Texans future

According to Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans, sixth-year tight end Brevin Jordan is currently dealing with a knee ailment that has him designated as "day-to-day" until more information becomes available.
Even though there's still around 4.5 weeks until the first whistle of the 2026 NFL season, Jordan's latest injury setback could spell disaster for his long-term viability in Houston.
With this is mind, it would be completely understandable if the team doesn't have an appetite to really wait on situations like Jordan's to pan out anymore.
Unfortunately, this may be the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back" when it comes his tenure in Battle Red.
While there are no reports that verify an impending seperation between the two sides, it's not something that should take many by surprise if the news breaks in the coming weeks.
