Herndon - Douglas "Nubs" Alvin Klock, 71, of Herndon, passed away on Aug. 4, 2026, at his residence. He was the widow of Carol (Ulrich) Klock sharing over 10 years of marriage before her passing in 2013. Born on Aug. 20, 1954, in Sunbury, he was a son of Anna (Hoffman) Klock and the late Alvin Klock. A devoted member of the Herndon Fire Company, Douglas faithfully served in a variety of roles over the years, including a term as president. Douglas will be remembered by his mother, Anna; daughter, Nicci Brandt and her husband Todd; sons, Jacob Klock and his wife Colline, and Levi Klock and his wife Holly; grandchildren, Dawson, Amber, Sara, Abi, Kylie, and Carter, and a great-grandson Hank.
