Danville - Thomas E. Forney, 73, of Danville, Pa., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born on Aug. 11, 1952, in Danville, Pa., the son of the late Charles "Sam" and Mary Catherine (Von Blohn) Forney. Tom is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as his former wife and lifelong friend, Cynthia Foulke Forney Walzer of Danville, Pa. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers; Ronald Forney, Charles Forney, and Richard Forney.
