Campaign season has launched for the United Way of Southwest Michigan as it seeks support from the community to continue connecting residents with the resources they need. “They hold an actual workplace fundraising campaign where they ask employees to participate in a myriad of different ways,” East said. And East says they may hold special volunteer or fundraising events for the United Way. This year’s Pacesetters are United Federal Credit Union, Mid-West Family Marketing & Media, St. Joseph Public Schools, Vail Rubber Works, and the United Way of Southwest Michigan. East says it will take all of this support to continue the United Way’s mission.
