Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia - Carl G. Snyder, 86, of Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia after a short illness. Born on Dec. 4, 1939, Carl's life was marked by a dedication to his family, career, community, and country. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Abigail Erdley; his first wife, Deanne (Liddington) Snyder and his second wife Shirley Tymchyk. In retirement, Carl devoted his time to what he loved most — traveling the world. Carl's legacy of service, hard work, curiosity, and love for family will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
