California Water Service (Cal Water) has completed two water infrastructure upgrades in Visalia and started a new one in Goshen to enhance water system reliability and fire protection. In Goshen, part of the Visalia District, crews are installing 4,500 feet of new 12-inch and eight-inch water main and six new fire hydrants. In north Visalia, crews recently completed the installation of 2,300 feet of eight and six-inch water main between West Prospect Avenue and West Harold Avenue, on North Turner Street, North Conyer Street, North Stevenson Street, and North Willis Street. Crews will be working Monday Through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., east of Highway 99 on Avenue 308, Willis Avenue, Harvest Avenue, Avenue 306, and Avenue 305 from Road 72 to Farr Road. The project is part of Cal Water’s ongoing commitment to responsibly invest in and maintain critical water infrastructure.
