While global tensions and elevated fuel costs continued to challenge the global air cargo market throughout the past year, signs of stability have begun to emerge. As contributing editor Karen Thuermer reported in last month’s State of Logistics report, market analysts believe air cargo fundamentals are gradually reasserting themselves. This year’s Quest for Quality results reflect the premium customers continue to place on reliable air cargo service. The Air Carrier category produced some of the highest weighted scores in the entire survey, led by Lufthansa Cargo at 58.31, followed by Singapore Airlines Cargo at 57.36. Together, this year’s Quest for Quality results reinforce that as the cargo market returns to more stable footing, shippers continue to reward the carriers and forwarders that consistently deliver speed and reliability when it matters most.
