APHere is the latestThe conflict in Iran continues to spread throughout the Middle East, as Iranian-backed Houthi rebels fight in Yemen and Israel continues its campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Trump also claimed Monday in an Oval Office exchange with reporters that the U.S. has “100% control” of the Strait of Hormuz, but that the situation remains complex. The Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway through which about a fifth of the world’s oil supply flows, is directly south of Iran.
