Due to landslides triggered by heavy rainfall, two national highways and 204 other roads in the state are blocked for traffic. Heavy rainfall has also led to a rise in the water level of the Beas River and other rivers and rivulets in the district. According to the State Emergency Operations Centre, two national highways and 204 other roads are blocked for traffic across the state. In view of the weather warning, the administration has appealed to people to stay away from rivers and rivulets and avoid unnecessary travel.
