By Telangana Today Published Date - 11 August 2026, 02:48 PMHyderabad: Tension prevailed at the Gandipet MRO office in Rajendranagar as Madhu Park Ridge (MPR) residents opposed the land acquisition process for the Musi Riverfront Development project. MRDCL officials also invited three to four representatives of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) from colonies whose properties will be affected along the Musi River as part of land acquisition for the project. The colonies whose residents went to the Gandipet MRO office included Shivpuri, Dattatreya Colony, Sri Vigneshwara Colony, Dream Homes, Karywell Homes, PG Colony, Vishal Nagar and Sairam Nagar. Trouble began when MRDCL officials and the Gandipet MRO put pressure on residents to part with their properties for Musi Riverfront Project.
