It’s Lerners LPP’s Growing Up On The Farm; local families building the future of agriculture — one generation at a time…fueled by Kubota. The final Growing Up on the Farm feature takes us to Mulberry Moon Farm, a small-scale market garden run by Alex Glazirin and his family, presented by McLeod Water Wells. Mulberry Moon Farm operates for most of the year, selling produce through a community-supported agriculture program, its on-farm store and several wholesale customers. He started Mulberry Moon Farm in 2010, north of Toronto, before moving the farm several times and eventually settling in the area. The work includes planting, caring for crops, harvesting, washing and packing vegetables, and keeping the farm store stocked.
