Cumberland Council announced the scheduled closure of Barepot Road from its junction with Calva Brow, extending for about 450 metres to its junction with Waters Edge. The closure is scheduled to start on August 24. There is no alternative route for vehicles, although pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will still have access.
